An expert lecture on “The Johari window: Aframework for improving self awareness, Communication and team work in the corporate sector” organized by School commerce and management at Khalsa College panjokhra sahib on March 25,2025.

The School of Commerce and Managementand S.G H.S Khalsa College Panjokhra Sahib organized an expert lecture on “SWOT analysis And The johari window ” by Prof. Amrinder singh .The lecture session was held under the kind guidance of Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Principal, Khalsa College, Panjokhra sahib. Dr. Sukhdev Singh appreciated the initiative of PG department of commerce and mentioned that such sessions play a substantial role in today’s education. PROF.Parveen kaur, H.O.D of school of commerce and Management commenced the session by formally welcoming the guest orator. Prof . Simranjeet Kaur commerce deptt., gave an introduction about the activity and Prof. Babita Gambhir introduced the speaker to the audience. The lecture effectively mentioned all the elements in the Johari window by Dr. Beena devi Maharaja Suraj Mal institute Delhi under the affiliation Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University The speaker explained the self awareness in corporate sector with the support of relevant examples from our daily lives. And Dr. Vjinder Narwal , Associate Professor and NCC officer, D.A.V college wonderfully explained about Swot Analysis.The main motive of this activity was to motivate the youth to apply their ideas in the commercial world through the proper channels. Prof. Simarjeet gave a vote of thanks to the guest and the session participants. Around seventy students from commerce department and from various streams Dr. Ram Kumar Saini, dr. Neena Kaushik, Prof Jagjot kaur, Prof. Manisha Mann , DR . Rajinder, Dr. Gursimran kaur , Dr. Ramandeep singh and other faculty members actively participated in the session.

Khalsa College Panjokhra Sahib Hosts PRISMA 2025

Khalsa College Panjokhra Commerce Association with School of Commerce and Management, organized one-day fest PRISMA 2025 to foster skill development and employability and development among college students.

PRISMA 2025 provided a platform for students to showcase their talents in Food stall, rituals , Games, Nalle bunna, singing ghoriyia, Suhaag. The event not only highlighted the students’ creative skills and enjoyment but also emphasized their entrepreneurial potential.

College Principal Dr. Sukhdev Singh encouraged the students to transform their passions into successful businesses, urging them to push their creative boundaries. He emphasized the importance of leveraging their skills to become successful future entrepreneurs.

Head of Department, Prof. Parveen Kaur stated that the event aimed to showcase students’ talents and provide them with opportunities for employment.

The event was a resounding success, and the college plans to continue organizing such initiatives to promote student development and employability.
